The Department of Cybernetics and Robotics, as the heiress of the Department of Cybernetics and Robotics Fundamentals, continues hosting the scientific seminars initiated by prof. Jerzy Jaroń in 1971. After the establishment of the new Department, in order to give the event a proper rank, the then head prof. Krzysztof Tchoń introduced, apart from the natural ordinal numbering of the meetings, an additional order commonly known as the new-department order. At the start of the 2022 calendar year, the counters showed 1258 and 125 meeting numbers, respectively.
